How to cancel Goodfood
Check whether cancelling affects other benefits tied to the same membership
Pick the route that costs you the least effort
Try them in this order. Most people only need the first one.
Online self service
Sign in on the official site, open billing or membership, turn off auto renewal, and screenshot the confirmation.
Try this first
Through your app store
If Apple or Google bills you, cancel in Apple ID or Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling on the provider site will not stop that charge.
Chat or secure message
Ask for the cancellation in writing and request the transcript by email. Avoids the phone queue entirely.
Phone, if you must
Say: cancel effective today, confirm in writing, give me a reference number, and I am not interested in a retention offer.
Written request
Required by many gyms and insurers. Generate the letter, send it by email, and use registered mail if the contract demands it.
Where the cancel option lives
Look in the Membership or Account page on the site or app. Some need a store visit or a phone call.
Before you press cancel
- Annual memberships such as Costco and BJ's are often refunded pro-rata for the unused period
- A membership tied to a co-branded credit card is separate from the card account. Handle both
- Delivery subscriptions must be cancelled before the renewal date or the current period is not refunded
