How to cancel Philo
Access usually continues until the end of the current billing period
Pick the route that costs you the least effort

Online self service
Sign in on the official site, open billing or membership, turn off auto renewal, and screenshot the confirmation.
Try this first
Through your app store
If Apple or Google bills you, cancel in Apple ID or Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling on the provider site will not stop that charge.
Chat or secure message
Ask for the cancellation in writing and request the transcript by email. Avoids the phone queue entirely.
Phone, if you must
Say: cancel effective today, confirm in writing, give me a reference number, and I am not interested in a retention offer.
Written request
Required by many gyms and insurers. Generate the letter, send it by email, and use registered mail if the contract demands it.
Where the cancel option lives
Look in the Membership, Billing or Subscription area of the provider account, usually behind your profile menu.
Before you press cancel
- If you are billed through Apple, Google or a provider bundle, cancel there instead. The cancel button may not exist on the provider site
- Cancelling usually keeps access until the end of the current billing period, with no pro-rata refund
- Annual and promotional plans are rarely refunded mid-term. Usually you can only turn off auto-renewal

Still being charged after cancelling
- 1Send your proof and ask for a refund of every charge after the cancellation date.
- 2Set a deadline in writing and keep the thread.
- 3Open a billing dispute with your card issuer and quote your proof.
- 4Escalate to US: Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
- 5Block repeat billing at the payment source, such as the app store, PayPal or your card.
